Our Mission
Our mission is to provide quality care in the home environment, emphasizing preventative and restorative medical care, with compassion and respect for each individual served.
What's in a name?
In ancient Greek mythology, the giant Argus Panoptes served as an eternal watchman for all of the gods. With his name meaning, “all-seeing one,” Argus had 100 eyes that never slept, so he could always be on guard.
What Does the Peacock Symbolize?
In honor of Argus’ faithful service to the goddess Hera, Hera preserved the hundred eyes of Argus in the tail feathers of her most favorite creature – the peacock – so his service and legacy would always be remembered and displayed.
At Argus Home Health Care, we feel his service and faithfulness lives on through one of our most favorite creatures – the peacock – as well as our caring service and watchful eyes for all of those in need.
